We usually respond within three days
We're looking for a Content & Communications Manager who lives and breathes specialty coffee and knows how to translate technical excellence into compelling stories that inspire roasters to take action. You'll be the voice of ROEST, creating content that builds trust, demonstrates value, and helps coffee professionals understand why our roasters are worth the investment.
This is a hands-on role, with 70% of your time dedicated to writing and creating content, 15% spent coordinating with agencies and partners, 10% focused on engaging with the coffee community at events, and 5% allocated to managing content operations.
What you'll do
- Write customer case studies that showcase how roasters use ROEST to grow, save time, and improve quality.
- Create content that translates technical features into clear customer value.
- Build consistent messaging frameworks for campaigns, events, and social media.
- Support the sales and marketing team with content that helps prospects move from curiosity to purchase.
- Partner with video agencies, creators, and roasters to bring authentic stories to life.
- Manage influencer and collaboration partnerships with coffee professionals and creators who align with our brand.
- Stay connected to the coffee scene — attend events, talk to roasters, and keep our content rooted in real industry insight.
You're a Great Fit If You Have:
Must-Have:
- 3-5+ years in specialty coffee industry - roaster, coffee marketer, coffee shop manager, barista-turned-marketer, or similar. You need to speak the language.
- Strong writing portfolio - case studies, blogs, or product content.
- Content marketing experience - you've created content that drives business results, not just gets likes. You understand funnels, nurture, and conversion.
- Self-directed execution - you take strategic direction and run with it. You don't need hand-holding or constant oversight.
- Agency coordination experience - you've briefed and managed external creatives, given feedback, and ensured quality delivery.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with SEO, multimedia storytelling, or brand communications.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing funnels and content performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Norwegian or Nordic coffee culture.
