Your Mission: Architecting the Future of Roasting
As our Lead Electrical/Electronics Engineer (EEE), you will serve as the technical authority for our hardware platform. You will drive the end-to-end design, development, and integration of all electrical systems across our product lifecycle—from initial concept and specification through to production and global certification. This is a highly technical, hands-on role with a focus on creating robust, high-precision electromechanical hardware for commercial environments.
What You'll Do:
Lead the complete design, development, and integration of all electrical and electronic systems for ROEST products. Project start for our next product development is Q3 2026.
Serve as the primary technical authority for the hardware platform, making key architectural and component decisions.
Ensure all hardware designs are robust, scalable for mass production, and compliant with global industrial safety and emissions standards.
Collaborate intimately with mechanical and firmware engineering teams to create seamlessly integrated and high-performing products.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept and prototyping through testing, validation, and successful transition to manufacturing.

Must-Have Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or 10+ years of equivalent industrial experience.
Proven expertise in designing, developing, and scaling electrical systems for commercial products.
Deep understanding of LV distribution and industrial power systems, particularly 230/400V AC.
Compliance focused design philosophy and awareness of international industrial standards and best practices.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation strategies.
Hands-on experience integrating robust, high-precision electromechanical hardware.
Ability to serve as the technical authority for a complex hardware platform.
Must be based in Oslo, Norway, or willing to relocate to Oslo for this role.
